As you can see, I am just getting the hang of creating a blog. This is new to me and if anyone can give me some feedback and help, it will be truly appreciated.
This is a new concept for me and I think I will like it almost as much as I like crocheting. :)) I will start posting pics of the things that I have made over the years.

Truly Amazed
Well, to start this off. I was at work one day and was talking to a co-worker about the afghan that I was making. I told her that I would bring it in one day once I had finished it so she could see what I had done.
The day that I decided to take it to work, another co-worker had just come back to work from having major surgery and it was also her birthday. I took the afghan in and showed it to my friend and some other people that I wanted to see it. Everyone loved it and couldn't believe I had made it.
I gave it to the other co-worker as a birthday/comfort afghan gift. Everyone wanted one. LOL
Then another lady asked me if I make hats, scarves and so forth. I said that I did and she became excited. She asked me if I could make some flap hats for her two girls. She wanted one bear and one frog. I told her that I would search for patterns for her.
I found a bear pattern and a frog pattern (which was cute but not what I wanted). I made the bear hat but searched in vain for the frog. I couldn't find one that I liked, so I decided to make my own pattern. It came out really nice. Then she wanted matching scarves, so I made those, too.
Over the next week or so, I will make my hat to take a picture and post the pattern with it. It will be free to use but not to sell. (you know about copyright) This is my contribution to the craft world.
I am hoping to make and post more of my own work on my blog. :)) Stay tuned.
